Inter- Agency Case Review Panel
Purpose
The purpose of this group is to:
Provide a forum for practitioners from member agencies to undertake case/practice reviews to support and improve interagency arrangements to safeguard children and by doing so improve interagency performance management.
The LSCB Interagency Case Review Panel will review cases where the following criteria apply:
-
Interagency management of the child's care plan has demonstrated excellent examples of interagency working
-
Interagency management of the child's care plan is ineffective and local resolution has not improved effectiveness ( this may be due to lack of policy/training/guidance in the area or high levels of interagency or single agency conflict/non cooperation)
-
The child's name has been subject to a child protection plan for longer than 18 months.
-
There is not a consensus that a child needs to be subject to a child protection plan at a child protection conference
-
The child requires a protection plan when they have been previously subject to a protection plan (within the preceding 12 months)
