Policy and Procedures Sub Group
Purpose
The purpose of this group is to:

Continually review and update multi agency policy and procedures ensuring that policy reflects “Working Together to Safeguard Children” guidance, the Children Act 2004 and other statutory or best practice guidance.

Assess procedural implications of learning points and recommendations arising from Serious Case Reviews and other performance monitoring systems.

Promote effective working relationships between member agencies and professional groups and facilitate a shared understanding and agreement about operational practices through policy development.

Under the leadership of the Board, establish specific tasks groups to support the development of policy in response to service needs.
